O OR DIE: Sessions Sent CHILLS Down Chicago Mayor’s Spine… “YOU’VE BEEN WARNED”

Earlier today, Attorney General Jeff Sessions made a speech in Miami to praise Dade County’s collaboration with federal immigration authorities. At the same time, he slammed Chicago for their unwillingness to work with the current administration on the sanctioning of illegal aliens.
In Feburary, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Giménez (R) completely ended the city’s sanctuary policy. This allows law enforcement agencies to work with ICE.
While Sessions praised this, he took shots at Chicago:
“Unfortunately, some cities — like Chicago — refuse to follow your example.”
Sessions went on to say that their increasingly dangerous crime rate is certainly linked to their refusal to work with ICE.
“In Chicago — a city with almost exactly the same 2.7 million person population as Miami-Dade — more than 433 people have been murdered since the beginning of the year. More than three times as many as Miami-Dade,” said Sessions.
“Last year, Chicago’s 2.7 million residents experienced more murders than the 12.5 million people who live in New York and Los Angeles — combined,” said Sessions.
“The Chicago Police Department also reported more than 4,300 shooting victims. In the first half of last year, violent crime across the nation increased 5 percent, but in Chicago it surged 24 percent,” he added.
He also commented about an undocumented illegal criminal who who assaulted and raped a woman before being released by police, again pointing the finger at Chicago’s sanctuary policy.
Then, Sessions sent a direct shot to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) for filing a lawsuit against the Federal Government.
Rather than acknowledge soaring murder counts or the heartbreaking stories told by victims’ families, Chicago’s mayor has chosen to sue the federal government,” he said.
Sessions continued to say that Justice Department grants are made to assist cities reduce crime. “But we cannot continue giving federal taxpayer money to cities that actively undermine the safety and efficacy of federal law enforcement and actively frustrate efforts to reduce crime in their cities.”
“So if voters in Chicago are concerned about losing federal grant money: call your mayor,” Sessions stated.
