Breaking: Mueller Asked to Resign

There is a chance that Arizona Republican, Trent Franks can end Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

Trent Franks stated that Mueller has to resign from his position.

This is due to his close friendship with former FBI Director James Comey.

Fox News reported that Comey’s firing this spring by President Trump was the chief reason for the appointment by the Department of Justice. Franks stated: “Bob Mueller is in clear violation of federal code and must resign to maintain the integrity of the investigation into alleged Russian ties.” He continued: “Those who worked under them have attested he and Jim Comey possess a close friendship, and they have delivered on-the-record statements effusing praise of one another.”

According to the Conservative Tribune, Franks had issues with Mueller’s decision to create the investigative team who had donated to the Democrats and/or Hillary Clinton. Franks said: “Already, this investigation has become suspect — reports have revealed at least four members of Mueller’s team on the Russia probe donated to support Hillary Clinton for president, as President Trump pointed out. These obviously deliberate partisan hirings do not help convey impartiality.”

He also added: “Until Mueller resigns, he will be in clear violation of the law, a reality that fundamentally undermines his role as special counsel and attending ability to execute the law.”

The Washington Times reports that Mueller is troubled with President Trump’s financial transactions. He searched any evidence for money laundering. However, the media didn’t receive any proof that this money laundering is happening.

Furthermore, one more reason why Franks is right are the conflicts of interest under federal law defined as “a personal relationship with any person substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution.”

Hopefully, more people will think like Franks and will raise this issue into the national consciousness.
