ITS OFFICIAL: Joe Arpaio’s Attorneys Received A Letter From The Department Of Justice

The case against former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been officially dropped by the Department of Justice after they agreed with prosecutors. Trump sent an unconditional pardon which means that this man is free from any more charges on this single case. That is welcome news to many conservatives around the country who feel that this man was mistreated by the liberal system.

In a federal filing, attorneys at the United States Justice Department agreed with Joe Arpaio defense attorneys. They said that U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton needs to vacate all charges having to do with this case.

“A pardon issued before entry of final judgment moots a criminal case because the defendant will face no consequences that result from the guilty verdict,” the response explained. “Accordingly, the government agrees that the Court should vacate all orders and dismiss the case as moot.”
Bolton, who was in charge of Joe Arpaio’s case, dismissed the October 5th sentencing but did not dismiss this case completely like President Donald Trump demanded. She, in return, asked that defense attorneys and the Department of Justice give briefs that explained why she should, or should not, do this.
The original Contempt of Court charge stems from a 2011 complaint that Arpaio and his officers were targeting illegal immigrants against the law. He is said to have detained over 170 illegals during this time frame. His actions were the talk of the country at the time and we are just now getting to the end of it.

Though it was not certain, President Trump pointed at the possibility of an Arpaio pardon. the former sheriff, who is now a free man, was a very big supporter of the president during his presidential campaign last fall. And look where we are now. Arpaio looks to get involved in politics somehow, whether that is on the Trump administration or on the outside looking in.

Where ever he may be, he would be great addition to an already strong administration. This news should excite conservatives around the country who were tired of seeing this man be treated with such disrespect.
